Description

Primarily developed to be used with HRI-33 roller inductor, since the shaft design makes possible to connect the encoder to the roller inductor through an extension.
Operates from 9 to 12 [V] DC supply.
Connections:
  1. Power supply connection
  2. Encoder connection (the red dot on the encoder is to be connected to the red dot on the counter, etc.)
  3. Reset (Res) connection (to turn the counter on the jumper has to be plugged onto this connector; instead of jumpers normally closed (NC) push buttons can be used as well)
Operation details:
  • Operates if the jumper is plugged in.
  • Numbers appear on the display only if power is supplied.
  • The encoder works even if no power is supplied, but the position is not displayed.
  • It means for instance if an antenna tuner is deenergized, the counter stores the actual position of the roller inductor, if the roller inductor is twisted in deenergized state, the counter still senses it and the new position will be displayed after reenergizing the system. It is secured by a backup battery.
  • The battery is charged automatically, if the power is switched on.
  • By pushing reset button, or removing the jumper the counter is set to 000, so the actual position is lost In this case the roller inductor should be turned to the end position and then the jumper should be plugged in again.
Counts 30 while the roller inductor makes a turn.
Counts from 0 to 999 (between the two ends of the roller inductor)
